Wet the face with hot water. Apply a nut-size amount of cream to the beard. Create a luxurious lather by massaging, or use with L'Occitane Natural Bristle Shaving Brush dipped in warm water. With light pressure, shave in the direction of hair growth, thoroughly rinsing razor in warm water between strokes. After shaving, rinse face and neck with cold water. Pat skin dry with a towel and apply Cade After Shave Balm. Tip: For an extra-protective barrier between razor and skin, apply Cade Travel Oil to beard in upward strokes before applying Cade Shaving Cream.

L'Occitane is committed to limiting its environmental impact, improving the well-being of both its customers and employees, and supporting the social causes close to its heart. From the very beginning, L'Occitane has been a socially responsible company, initiating sustainable development programs, introducing Braille labeling on its packaging, supporting projects led by women in developing societies, championing for people with sensory disabilities, and preserving threatened traditional cultivations, especially those of Provence, France.
A company with deep roots in the Provencal soil, L'Occitane is also committed to environmental preservation. As a producer of luxury skin care and body care products, L'Occitane uses natural, controlled-origin, organic, local, and sustainable ingredients, and its products have never been tested on animals. For over thirty years, the fields of Provence and the traditions and techniques of that land have been the secret and inspiration behind L'Occitane products, all of which are developed and produced in the small Provencal town of Manosque.
L'Occitane has drawn inspiration from the art de vivre of its birthplace and from traditional Provencal techniques to create products devoted to well-being and the pleasure of taking care of oneself. From texture to design, L'Occitane products always offer sensory delight, so every minute spent with L'Occitane is a moment of indulgence, rich in enjoyment and discovery.
L'OCCITANE en Provence
Purifying and stimulating, Wild Juniper essential oil is extracted from a precious wood of Provence
Juniper is a shrub that grows wild in the Provencal hillsides. When distilled, its wood yields a precious oil that was traditionally used by shepherds for its antiseptic, healing properties.
L'OCCITANE has developed a patented complex with a base of Cade - wild juniper - essential oil in response to the specific needs of men's skin:
Purifying: it regulates the secretion of sebum and prevents the spread of bacteria
Stimulating: it fortifies and protects the skin from external irritants
This cream transforms itself into a luxurious mousse. Cade complex is combined wit nourishing shea butter and moisturizing* glycerine to ensure a smooth shave. It leaves skin clean and smooth.
